Craniocervical Instability (CCI) and Chiari malformation are distinct but often co-occurring disorders of the skull-spine junction. CCI is the excessive movement (instabilit) of the skull on the cervical spine due to weak ligaments, while Chiari is the downward herniation of brain tissue (cerebellar tonsils) into the spinal canal.  CCI and Chiari share overlapping symptoms due to brainstem compression and pressure changes at the base of the skull, including severe headaches, neck pain, dizziness, vertigo, and weakness or numbness in limbs. CCI often presents with a "bobblehead" sensation, while Chiari commonly features cerebellar symptoms like balance issues.  This patch features hand-embroidered (red) accents.
